Norman Rinehart Stemple

2012-November

by Carol E. Spencer

Our neighbor and friend, Norman Rinehart Stemple (March 7, 1933 - November 11, 2012), died early this morning. Please keep Irene Stemple, her daughter, Tricia, and the Stemple family in your thoughts and prayers.

Norm and Irene have been long-time residents of Mistletoe Heights in their beautiful home(s) near the Triangle. They raised their family here and have told me many stories about the good things their family experienced right here in our neighborhood.

Norm shared his negotiation and communication skills with us during the protracted contract negotiations for gas drilling. He was able to help us understand what the options were, what we were being offered, and what other neighborhoods were being offered. What a huge gift he gave us!

Norm's boundless energy, happy spirit, and kind heart will certainly be missed. "May light perpetual shine upon him."

Norm was a member at Trinity Lutheran Church in the Cultural District.
